From the Head of School
Welcome to the Arkansas Virtual School (ARVS). ARVS offers you the opportunity to provide your children a rich and comprehensive education in an innovative new public school program. ARVS combines a challenging academic curriculum, dedicated teachers, parent involvement, and innovative technologies to deliver an engaging education. Our teachers work in partnership with you to design and implement an individual learning plan for your child.
ARVS offers a rigorous and challenging curriculum that is aligned with the Arkansas Department of Education's Curriculum Frameworks. The program provides accountability through state regulations and school policies; feedback on student achievement through progress reports, conferencing, and standardized assessments; and flexibility in instructional strategies and scheduling.
