Arkansas Virtual School and K12
The Arkansas Department of Education has chosen K12 for its curriculum and school management services of the Arkansas Virtual School. A group of leading educators formed K12 to provide a high-quality elementary and secondary education program. The K12 program is built on two key pillars. First, K12 is developing a comprehensive and thorough curriculum based on materials and education methods that are time-tested and proven. Second, K12 is enriching this educational experience with the thoughtful application of technology in order to engage, expand, and enrich the horizons of child and parent alike.
